About John Garcia

John Garcia is the Manager of Warranty & Quality Control at CIE Manufacturing, bringing more than 15 years of hands-on experience in the intermodal equipment industry. Since 2020, he has overseen the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ensuring every trailer and intermodal chassis meets the highest standards before leaving the yard. His role includes managing non-conforming material reports, conducting root cause investigations, leading corrective and preventive actions, and serving as the Management Representative for both internal and third-party audits.

John’s expertise spans warranty claim management, customer complaint resolution, quality inspections, and compliance with AAR, DOT, FMVSS, ISO, ANSI, SAE, and TTMA standards. His meticulous approach has reduced defects, improved customer satisfaction, and streamlined documentation processes.

Before joining CIE Manufacturing, John spent nearly a decade at CIMC Intermodal Equipment, where he advanced from Field Service Technician to Manager of Warranty Training & Quality Control. In this role, he developed in-depth knowledge of chassis builds, service operations, and product reliability.

John holds a Class A CDL and is dedicated to supporting engineers, technicians, and assemblers in designing and building higher-quality components.
